Related by law...

[muahaha... juz randomly had to type somethin... coz bout no updates hey... seriously... no time =( ... *cries* huibear]

Marriage...
It is like a contract which locks you into a deal with the one you love. Necessary? I suppose it announces a status unbreakable (hopefully...) and firmly embeds your feelings, care, love for one another, as well as the shared beliefs, values, attitudes.

However, if it was a second marriage with children, without a choice, they immediately become related by law. This is the part that amazes me the most. Without having anything to do with the marriage, without having a say in anything, you become immediately "related" to another person. No blood relation, nothing.

What kind of feeling... is this? I really don't know. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, just that it's intriguing. What would happen from there? What if you did not get along with the "new siblings" who you never grew up with, never knew... would it come down to an empty, lonely feeling? If you did get along with the suddenly-your-siblings, is everything then fantastic?

Totally absorbed into this "related by law" notion... I am not totally sure what my opinion on it really is. I shall try to find a conclusion... is it better left open though?

Major de-stress time!

[SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING! SO SO SOOOO SORRY! Been really busy wif uni hey peeps... so sorry to disappoint... =(... feels craaaappp! =(=(.. now... got tonnes of stuff to say... so yeh.. hopefully in dis one week break I can write more yeH? hehee.. blog, i'm baaaack! XD]

1 Start of a more stressful year than year 12
Even though university started a month ago... I never had a chance to write about the recent events associated with it. With the commencement of dentistry, all my time has been dedicated to it since there are 6 units to complete this semester. With 35 contact hours a week, the time that I have to spend with friends is basically spent with friends of either the medicine of dentistry faculty. Terribly miss Rossmoyners... but there's just no time to meet up! Seriously upsetting. Also friends from outside the schooling facet... I still see dance friends regularly because of training... but I just have to say a HUMONGOUS SORRY to my karaoke buddies, I tried my best to find time to be with you all!!!

2 Stressful week- start VS end
This week comprised of- deadlines for 3 essays and one mid semester test. It all took place one after the other... and it is all over now. To end this seemingly gloomy week, Allied Health was held at Metros City last night! It was an absolute fabulous event, and I had a GREAT time! Dancing, drinking, chatting, laughing... the wonders of de-stress activities. Ahhh... simply blissful. Met up with Mon as well, and maybe seeing her again tomorrow night as we continue to party our nights away. LOVE being 18!!!

3 Study break
Now with Shan in China, a pile of revision work waiting for me, parties to be organized, dance performances... I have still got a handful of things to do. Hopefully everything could be done during this short break... balancing productivity and relaxation. Hope to meet up with friends too, to catch up on so many things since the start of university. Glad to have to new friends, wish to keep all the old ones though.

Smoothly cruising through Easter, I started munching through my Easter Stock of chocolates. With only 3 hours of sleep after last night, I went out again today to watch 300. Excellent movie, but fell asleep during the first parts of the movie because it lacked action and I was so tired. Still had an awesome day, spent half walking over to Deb's house from Southlands... find 30?
